Monemvasia Castle
Athens, early in the morning. We are picking you up from your hotel or apartment and driving to Peloponnese, where we are going to visit “Gibraltar of the East” and experience a time-travel to the Middle-Age and Byzantine times!
After having the necessary stops-breaks for snacks and pictures, during an adventurous journey, we reach our destination. Monemvasia is an impressive fortress-town laid in Southeastern Peloponnese. Its construction aimed to the avoidance of enemy attacks, so it is invisible from the mainland, to which it is connected only by a narrow pathway and that is how its name came out (Monemvasia means in Greek a single passage).
Having completed our scheduled trip, we are leaving Peloponnese, having kept deeply in our hearts this unforgettable experience and driving back to Athens.
